Chocolate price war
Supermarkets often offer short-term promotions so that customers can buy their favorite festive chocolates at a discounted price. However, such offers do not last long.
At the beginning of the month, Tesco lowered the price on Quality Street buckets to £2.95, giving customers the opportunity to stock up before Christmas.
Wednesday will also mark a promotion from Sainsbury’s, which will reduce prices on beloved Cadbury chocolates from £7 to £4.50 — a great opportunity for festive shopping.
In addition to large chocolate buckets, other festive favorites like Cadbury’s Mini Snow Balls are appearing on shelves, as well as new options of classic Terry’s chocolate. Mars also introduced its new holiday line.
Thus, discounts on chocolate from Ocado and other supermarkets provide customers the chance to save right when preparing for the holidays. With Christmas fast approaching, it is likely that the demand for these treats will only increase. Successful promotions indicate that the competition among supermarkets for customers continues to intensify, which certainly delights sweet lovers.
