Hulk Hogan's Inheritance: Millions for Son, Daughter Left Out of Will.
According to The Sun: Hulk Hogan's will confirmed the tension in the WWE legend's family, which has become a topic of discussion in the years leading up to his death.
A new report revealed the amount of assets that the late Hogan left behind.
Hogan with daughter Brooke, wife Linda, and son NickGettyHogan passed away at 71 years old in July due to a heart attack.
Just a few days before his death, 71-year-old Hogan and his daughter Brooke had a brief but emotional conversation after many years of silence.
Hogan's son, Nick, revealed that the wrestling legend left behind assets totaling $5 million, according to court documents filed after his death.
The documents provided by Nick and obtained by US Weekly also indicate that Hulk did not include Brooke in the list of heirs to his estate.
Instead, Nick became the sole heir to his father's estate, while Hulk's widow, Melanie Sky Daily, is listed as his surviving spouse.
The documents also note that the wrestler left $2000 in cryptocurrency, around $800,000 in tangible and intellectual properties, publicity rights valued at $4 million, and a potential medical malpractice claim whose value has yet to be confirmed.
However, Nick did not mention his father's real estate portfolio in the documents.
Nick and Brooke filed new documents to become the personal representatives of their father's estate along with Hulk's financial advisor, Terry McCoy, on Tuesday.
Hulk Hogan's Real Estate
It is known that Hulk owned two adjacent properties in Clearwater, Florida, with a combined value of $11 million.
The documents also indicate that Nick claimed his father wrote a will in 2016 and amended it four times, with the last change occurring in July 2023.
37-year-old Brooke allegedly requested to exclude herself from her father's will in 2023, as she did not trust those around him and didn't want to get caught up in a financial battle after his passing.
Brooke was married to former NHL player Steve Alexey.
Five days after the announcement of Hogan's death, she posted a lengthy message on social media describing their relationship.
“My father and I never 'fought',” Brooke wrote on Instagram.
Last month, Brooke admitted she felt that Hogan was distancing himself from her, saying he no longer wanted help, despite his health issues.
“We went through almost 25 surgeries together, and suddenly he didn’t want me to be present at all of them,” she said.
Brooke sharply reacted to rumors about her supposed distance from her father, noting that they were “very, very close.”
“We’ve been through a lot together,” she added.
“I’ve forgiven a lot. I’ve been by his side through everything.”
The situation regarding Hulk Hogan’s estate inheritance demonstrates how complicated family relationships can lead to open conflicts even after his death. This story continues to attract attention, as it relates to the emotional moments the family has experienced in recent years. Hulk’s legacy and its impact on his descendants remain the focus of discussions as they try to resolve issues arising from asset division.
