Job recovery in the United Kingdom
According to The Sun: Four hundred new jobs are returning to the United Kingdom from India as part of a major recruitment campaign for Vodafone. These positions will be available in Sheffield and Belfast, just six months after the merger of mobile operators.
Specialization and focus of new positions
The vacancies will be focused on specialized support and sales, which will be part of the company's strategy to improve customer service.
'This step is part of our strategy aimed at improving service efficiency and growth in Ukraine.'
The return of jobs to the United Kingdom indicates Vodafone's new approaches to business development. Moving part of the operations abroad, and subsequently bringing functions back home, can have a significant impact on the local economy and create new employment opportunities for the population.
