Beginning of a New Era at Nottingham Forest

According to The Sun: Nottingham Forest star Callum Hudson-Odoi shared his impressions of his first training session under the new coach Ange Postecoglou. The 60-year-old Australian took over the team, replacing Nuno Espirito Santo, who was dismissed due to a conflict with club owner Evangelos Marinakis.

Hudson-Odoi, 24, emphasized that he and his teammates have already felt changes in the style of play. The new coach, a former Tottenham mentor, pays more attention to attacking strategy. Compared to the defensive style of play under Nuno, the team is striving for more aggressive football.

“Yes, it was training! I can't lie to you. It’s important for us to quickly establish a connection and understand what he wants from the team,”

he said in an interview with talkSPORT. Hudson-Odoi also noted the upcoming match: “The game is coming up soon, so we have to be ready.”

Postecoglou emphasized his desire to win trophies with Nottingham Forest after Marinakis expressed the need to “rise to a new level to compete with the best and attract interest in trophies.”

“This is the place I want to be. I have worked towards this for the last 28 years because I have never set limits for myself,”

the coach emphasized, noting that the team aims to reach new heights, and exciting times have come for the club.

Postecoglou's Football Philosophy

Postecoglou also shared his football principles and stressed that his main goal is to win: “I love to win; that’s what I do. I want fans to enjoy watching our team's games.”

“I want my team to play attacking football, and that is often perceived as limiting my game,”

he added, emphasizing that success is his priority.
