According to The Sun: Scott McClure, a Scot, left 'terrible' Great Britain for Croatia and is now actively encouraging others to make this bold move.

The man made the decision to move to the Balkan country six months ago and has no regrets about his choice. He claims that Croatia is much safer than Great Britain, as the crime rate back home is 'twice' as high.

“You feel much safer when you go home late at night,” he explained in a TikTok video posted on his account @thecreatoroperator.

In addition, the cost of living is another main reason why Scott fell in love with Croatia: it is much cheaper for him to live here, with bills being 33% cheaper than in Great Britain.

The sunny weather was also an important factor in Scott's decision to move, as he assures that in summer “you are guaranteed over 30 degrees.” And regarding Scotland, Scott says that “it's awful year-round.”

“It's awful year-round in Great Britain,” he added.

Scott also pointed to governance issues in Great Britain and noted that people there do not respect their country, leading to such disorder as littering from cars.

“You won't see this in Croatia!,” he emphasized.
