Defender broke his arm but won't miss matches: details of the injury.
According to The Sun: Dan Burn assures that a broken arm will not prevent him from continuing to play for his club and national team, despite the pain.
The Newcastle defender, who is 2 meters tall, missed a friendly match between England and Wales, in which his team won 3-0.
AFP AlamyHowever, he intends to receive his fourth captain's title on Monday during the World Cup qualifiers that will take place in Latvia.
This is despite the serious injury he sustained in a match against Nottingham Forest last week.
Burn stated: “I actually broke my arm, I don’t even know how it happened, I just tried to grab someone and felt a crack. It happened at the beginning of the second half, so I went for a scan and saw a specialist. I was told that I can play with this.”
He also noted: “I am ready to play in Latvia, I am ready to play for Newcastle, and I would be ready to step on the field even against Wales. It’s important for us to maintain the tempo throughout the entire match.”
These words will undoubtedly please coach Eddie Howe, as the team is missing its key defenders Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall due to injuries.
