According to The Sun: Ben Askren shared his experiences after being hospitalized with severe pneumonia, admitting that he 'left the Earth for 40 days'. The former UFC welterweight fighter was hospitalized in June last year due to a severe form of pneumonia caused by a staphylococcal infection.
