I partied with Grimsby stars until 3am after giant-killing and feel worse for wear now… but Man Utd flops scarpered.
According to The Sun: The stars of Grimsby Town celebrated until 3am after a stunning match in which they knocked out Manchester United from the Carabao Cup.
The League Two team delivered one of the biggest shocks in the history of English football. Many fans believed in their success even before the game, considering the problems that arose in Manchester.

United had a 1 to 7 odds of winning with a bookmaker and are 56 places above Grimsby in the football pyramid. However, after the introduction of £71 million signing Bryan Mbeumo, who reduced the deficit in the middle of the second half, the team managed to equalize in the 89th minute.
A Grimsby fan named Rhys, 19, who sat near some supporters, told SunSport: 'It’s like hypnosis. It’s such a weird feeling.'
“You have so much hope before the game, but to see how it unfolded was incredible. It’s one of the greatest feelings of my life.”
Rhys recalls the year when his favorite club suffered a defeat to Burton Albion, while United lost the chance to win their fourth consecutive Premier League title.
The Manchester University student didn’t forget to call his grandparents as they used to be Manchester United season ticket holders in the past.

MANCHESTER UNITED found themselves at the bottom after the biggest shock in the Cup, losing the chance to continue the fight for the Carabao Cup in the second round to a League Two team.
This is the first time Ruben Amorim's team has lost to a fourth division representative.
Fans at the stadium brutally sang 'you'll be sacked in the morning', and it's hard not to wonder if it might come true.
Another local fan, who works at a cafe near the stadium, shared his feelings about the celebrations after the match:
“I had a few drinks with all the players, everything was free. I was feeling a bit out of sorts this morning since I usually don’t drink.”
United has never lost to fourth division teams in the EFL Cup, and last played in the second round back in 2014.
Rhys believes this is a wake-up call for United:
“United probably expected to win, but we knew that they wouldn’t handle the pressure.”
After an incredible victory, the players of Grimsby celebrated their triumph with thousands of fans.
Rhys also plans to join the team in the next match against Sheffield Wednesday in the third round of the Cup.
