From bin cleaner to successful entrepreneur

According to The Sun: When Conan Salmon spent weekends cleaning trash bins for £2, his friends thought he had lost his mind – especially when he came home covered in dirt. But the laughter quickly stopped when they learned how much money he was making – some of them even started working for his business.

Today, Conan is 35 years old and runs his own company LBC, which earns millions. His success story began in 2011 when, as a student, he looked for ways to earn extra money.

Living in a cold garage, Conan decided to take action. He spent his savings on an old van and made a water tank from materials he found in a dumpster.

In the early days, it was tough, and Conan often returned home soiled. In his first year, he earned up to £150 a day, or about £40,000 a year. In the second year, he doubled that figure by expanding his business to include gutter and roof cleaning.

Professional Development

A breakthrough occurred in 2012 when he bought a hydraulic lift that allowed him to clean larger trash containers.

In 2013, he hired two employees, which made him realize that commercial contracts bring in higher profits. In 2017, he sold his home business for £30,000 and founded a new company, LBC.

Today, LBC has 18 employees and 15 vehicles, serving well-known clients such as The Savoy and The Connaught hotels in London. In 2023, sales reached £1.5 million, and profits ranged from £200,000 to £300,000.
