According to The Sun: I could hardly contain my excitement as I entered the Waitrose store for the festive presentation.

Although the evening was sunny and September, I was invited to try all the treats that this elite supermarket plans to sell during the holidays.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the supermarket is offering two special types of meat pies this year: 'Golden Meat Pies with Limoncello' and 'Meat Pies with Brandy and Butter'.

Those who have been to Italy know that limoncello is a popular liqueur served in small portions after meals to cleanse the palate.

At first, I found it hard to imagine how this citrus ingredient could work in a pie.

But this time, I changed my mind. The addition of the liqueur was very subtle, and the buttery pastry, slightly toasted with a lemon aroma, complemented the dessert perfectly.

These pies will be part of Waitrose's premium No. 1 line.

Another star of the event was the dessert 'New Year's Model'.

This delicacy is not only delicious but also beautifully designed - it will be a true adornment on the festive table.

The large chocolate dessert is designed as a traditional Christmas model, filled with dark chocolate and praline.

After one bite, I was thrilled; as a true chocolate fan, I wanted more, but I had to stop myself from taking more.

This dessert will cost £20, which can be quite expensive. So, it might be worth sharing the cost with other guests.

Savory Delicacies

Waitrose is known for its innovative approaches to holiday snacks.

This year, the brand is offering an original version of 'pigs in blankets' in the form of a quiche.

This delicious bread is filled with smoked bacon and sprinkled with crackers of pig meat and herbs.

The price for it will be £4, making it a perfect lunch option during the holidays.

And that's not all! Waitrose has also updated its scotch eggs, presenting the popular snack in a new form.

Two British classics combine, with filling wrapped in seasoned pork meat with smoked bacon.

These treats will cost £3.50 and serve two.
