Konate rejected an offer from Real: Mbappe tried to convince him.
Konate receives calls from Mbappé trying to persuade him to join Real Madrid
According to The Sun: Ibrahim Konate's phone keeps ringing - it's Kylian Mbappe trying to persuade him to join Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old defender has been on the radar of the Spanish giant all summer but has decided to stay at Liverpool for this season.

When asked if Mbappe is putting pressure on him about a possible move to Europe, Konate jokingly responded in an interview with a French channel:
“He calls me every two hours”.
Of course, there is a hint of irony in this response.
Nevertheless, it seems that his future could be linked to a move to Los Blancos.
According to reports, Konate has already rejected several offers to extend his contract with Liverpool in recent months.
His current contract ends at the end of the season, and Konate may follow in Trent Alexander-Arnold's footsteps, leaving Liverpool as a free agent.
Real has always shown interest in Konate, but already this summer, they signed Dina Huyseni. The club is also paying attention to Arsenal star William Saliba.
Saliba, 24, will be more difficult for the La Liga club to sign as the defender is already tied to Arsenal until 2027 and will require substantial compensation to complete the deal.
Meanwhile, Saliba has expressed a desire to continue his career in North London.
GettyWhen asked about the possibility of signing a new contract during Arsenal's preseason tour in Singapore, Saliba said:
“Yes, I hope so. Of course, there is nothing at the moment, but there are good talks with my agent and the club. We'll see.”
Real is also interested in signing William Saliba from Arsenal.
Against the backdrop of active negotiations between players and clubs, the situation with Konate could become significant in future transfers. It highlights the trend of players, despite existing contracts, starting to look for new opportunities. Real Madrid has always been among the favorites for dancing stars, and it will be interesting to see how events develop.
In addition, it is interesting to observe how Arsenal will cope with potential losses of key players like Saliba, who clearly wishes to stay at the club and continue his career in London.
