The former Newcastle United player is stepping away from commentary while collaborating with CBS Sports and SiriusXM FC Radio.

Hudson, who is 70 years old, announced his departure on social media.

“Very sad today, I'm leaving @CBSSports and @SiriusXM FC. Thank you all for sharing many masterful memories, where beautiful football and players have thrilled and amazed us.”

“Sincere gratitude to everyone I've worked with; you inspired me. I love you all and will miss you.”

Hudson began his career on air after finishing his time at DC United in 2004.

Recently, he worked on Sirius XM Radio hosting “The Football Show” and was part of the regular UEFA Champions League coverage on CBS Sports since 2022.

He started his commentary journey in 2000, working with the newly formed Miami Fusion, where he later became the head coach.
