According to The Sun: The large American fast food chain Wendy's has presented a new line of children's dishes that come with free toys. This initiative is aimed at competing with the famous Happy Meals from McDonald's.
Bright new toys hit the market ahead of Halloween and are becoming a real competitor to McDonald's giveaways.
New dishes from Wendy's have been introduced since October 7thToys are already available at Wendy's, which recently announced its expansion in the UK.
According to information, the chain will open new restaurants in Plymouth, Nottingham, and Basildon, increasing the total number of Wendy's restaurants in the UK to 48.
The restaurant in Plymouth will operate in the Drake Circus shopping center and will be equipped with self-order terminals, creating around 40 new jobs.
The chain is known for its high-quality food and favorite dishes such as the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Baconator, and Frosty desserts.
New Halloween Menu
Ahead of Halloween, Wendy's released its version of a kids' menu inspired by Happy Meal in the UK.
The Frosty Frights Kids’ Meals menu, costing just £3.99, includes a kids' dish with a free collectible toy.
The Frosty Frights toys are based on Wendy’s popular Frosty drink.
The collection features six toys, including The Yummy, Purrma Frost, Captain Coldsnap, and Chilly Gilly.

Since October 7th, the chain also introduced two new dishes: a grilled beef sandwich with caramelized onions, creamy mayonnaise, and melted cheese.
Michael Clarke, Wendy's director in Europe, emphasized that these changes are “one of our most exciting menu launches in the UK.”
“These new dishes are bold, tempting, and undoubtedly Wendy's,”
– he added. Wendy’s has already established itself as a popular fast food chain in the US with over 5,000 restaurants.
The company had previously attempted to establish itself in the UK in the 80s and early 2000s but failed at that time. Returning in 2021, it has significantly succeeded in expanding its market presence.
