According to inkorr.com: The Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, Oleksiy Sobolev, held a meeting with representatives of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which is part of the World Bank Group. The main topics of discussion were attracting private investments, public-private partnerships, and developing Ukraine's investment strategy.

'Ukraine is transitioning from preparation to the implementation of large-scale privatization and public-private partnership projects. We expect the launch of the first tenders in the PPP sector as early as next year and count on the expert support of the IFC in preparing complex transactions,' Sobolev noted.

Plans for Privatization and Investments

The Ukrainian side presented its intentions regarding privatization, discussed pilot projects in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions, as well as a new concession for a terminal in the port of Chornomorsk, which could attract 200 million dollars in investments. Participants in the meeting also emphasized the importance of developing public-private partnerships and discussed other aspects of cooperation.

Favorable Environment for Investments

The main goal of the meeting was to create favorable conditions for attracting investments and developing the Ukrainian economy through cooperation with international partners and stakeholders.

This meeting indicates a revitalization of Ukraine's plans for privatization and attracting investments, which is an important step in the development of the national economy.
