According to The Sun: Manchester United legends Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt shared their condolences following the death of Ricky Hatton as they launched their new podcast.
46-year-old Hatton was found dead at his home in Manchester on Sunday, although police do not consider the death suspicious.
PAHatton was a respected boxer and a devoted Manchester City fan, and his memory was honored in the sporting community following the news of his death.
The two former Manchester United footballers, along with host and close friend Paddy McGuinness, paid tribute to 'The Hitman' in the premiere episode of their new podcast 'The Good, The Bad & The Football'.
During the program, all three shared warm memories of their time with Hatton.
“Hatton was a wonderful person and character,” said Butt.
“He was a big character and one of the best boxers Britain has ever produced,” added Scholes.
McGuinness, who was a close friend of Hatton, recounted a funny moment from the 2010 Soccer Aid game.
“Ricky shouted: 'We lost. You knock them out, and I will finish them!'” recalls McGuinness.

Despite his love for Manchester City, Butt and Scholes expressed great respect for Hatton as an athlete.
Manchester United fans also joined in honoring Hatton's memory with a moment of silence at the Etihad before the Manchester derby on Sunday.
