Elon Musk Launched Grokipedia: What's Wrong with the New Encyclopedia.
According to inkorr.com: Elon Musk presented Grokipedia - his version of an encyclopedia that aims to compete with 'Wikipedia'. This platform, developed by 'xAI', began operating on Monday. According to Musk, it is supposed to be 'a huge step forward in understanding the Universe'.
According to The Washington Post, there are currently about 900,000 articles on Grokipedia.com. The design of the platform resembles 'Wikipedia', but is executed in darker tones. Despite the initial excitement, some users have already noted technical issues, including errors when loading pages.
Musk positions Grokipedia as a 'politically unbiased' alternative to traditional online encyclopedias. He has previously criticized 'Wikipedia' for its 'leftist bias' and called for cutting funding for the platform, accusing it of manipulating facts.
According to Business Insider, inaccuracies have already been found on Grokipedia pages. For example, in Musk's own biography, it was stated that former US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy allegedly led DOGE after Musk left, when in fact the politician left the project much earlier.
Grokipedia and Grok Artificial Intelligence
Grokipedia is integrated with Grok - an artificial intelligence from xAI, which has previously been involved in scandals over the spread of misinformation and conspiracy theories. However, Elon Musk believes that in the future, Grok will be able to 'rewrite all human knowledge, correcting errors and adding missing facts'.
Additionally, it is worth noting the widespread page theft on Facebook, where fraudsters have used a new method to bypass security.
Elon Musk is known for his ambitious projects in technology and space, and now he is expanding competition in the field of online encyclopedias with Grokipedia. However, the first identified inaccuracies and technical issues may raise questions about the success of this project and require further improvements.
