Under his management, Forest Green Rovers successfully reached the National League North, signing a new contract. After three months in charge, the team has already won eight out of 14 matches and currently sits in second place in the table. His goal is to bring the club back into the Football League.

Coach's Ambitions

In a recent interview with The Times, Savage shared his dreams of managing the national team:

“Will I ever be good enough? Who knows, but if the opportunity arises, it will be after ten or fifteen years in coaching.”

Born in Wales, Savage has played 39 matches for the national team during his career, scoring two goals. He has also played for Wales' junior teams.

The coach commented on the fans' attitude towards him:

“I know that many people want me to fail. I understand that.”

Moreover, he emphasized the importance of communication between the coach and players:
