Increase in Car Imports to Ukraine
Ukraine is actively increasing its car import volumes. From January to August 2025, 258,300 vehicles, both new and used, were imported. This is 20% more compared to the same period last year. The total customs value of imported cars reached 3.7 billion US dollars, which is 25% higher than the figure for 2024. Experts explain this growth not only by increased import volumes but also by rising car prices in global markets.'Stable demand for foreign cars in Ukraine indicates the activity of the domestic market, but also highlights the high dependence of the vehicle fleet on imports,' experts at 'Ukravtoprom' note.
