According to The Sun: Lukas Bergvall has a 'crazy mentality' and stands out as a special player since the age of nine.

He made his professional football debut for 'Brommapojkarna' at the age of 15 and has already become one of the most talked-about young talents in the sport.

Former coach Peter Kisfaludi spoke to SunSport about Bergvall's 'unique' abilities. Bergvall attended the same academy as Dejan Kulusevski, left, at 'Brommapojkarna'.

Now 19-year-old Bergvall has become a key player at 'Tottenham', turning down offers from 'Barcelona'. His career is no surprise to those who worked with him in Sweden.

The young man comes from a football family: his uncles Ludwig and William Soderlund also played for 'Brommapojkarna', trained by the same coach, Peter Kisfaludi.

Club and Achievements

The Stockholm club, managed by Premier League cult hero Olof Mellberg, has one of the largest academies in Europe with 260 teams and 4000 players.

They have produced several Swedish internationals and stars like Viktor Gyokeres and Dejan Kulusevski.

“I worked with him when he was nine until he was 14. And right after the first training, I thought: 'Oh wow, this is something special,'” said Kisfaludi about Bergvall.

Bergvall stood out in all age groups, often making a difference for 'Brommapojkarna' in international tournaments.

Move to Djurgården

Together with Kisfaludi, he won the prestigious Madrid Cup in 2019 and the Gothia Cup three times, leading to interest from 'Manchester United'.

“He was always the guy who, if he lost in games during training, was very upset when he was 10 years old,” recalled Kisfaludi.

Kisfaludi valued Bergvall so highly that he played a key role in his transfer to 'Djurgården', convincing the management to pay £1 million for the 16-year-old player.

After moving to 'Djurgården', Bergvall quickly adapted to life in the top division, earning the title of man of the match in his debut.

Martin Falkeborn, a former coach and friend of Bergvall, noted that his rapid rise and adaptation at 'Tottenham' is no coincidence.

“Everyone thought, oh, two or three years, and then we can sell him. But six months later, he was sold to 'Tottenham', and, sorry, but he starts playing,” said Falkeborn.

Bergvall chose 'Tottenham' despite interest from 'Barcelona' and 'Benfica', and currently plays in several midfield positions. Kisfaludi is confident his best role is as an 'eight', but notes he needs to improve his skills.

Thus, Lukas Bergvall's career continues to gain momentum. With his talents and determination, the young footballer has every chance of becoming a world-class star. Watching his development, fans and experts are sure that he has not said his last word in professional football.
