Primark opens its first home store in the UK: what's inside.
Opening of the new Primark store in Manchester
According to The Sun: I visited the new Primark store in Trafford Palazzo in Manchester and immediately thought I had stepped into Dunelm or Homesense. There are no clothes, shoes, pajamas, or cosmetics here — only home goods.
ZenpixThis is the first Primark store in the UK entirely dedicated to home products, and The Sun got exclusive access to it before the opening.

The store spans 11,900 square feet and is located over two floors. On the ground floor, you can find a wide selection of kitchen appliances, bedding, bathroom accessories, and plush toys, while the mezzanine will feature a travel store that will operate year-round.
Primark promises that the store will showcase a variety of home goods, and it is truly impressive.
Product Range
At the front of the store, you will find a large selection of kitchen accessories: glasses for £5, patterned mugs starting at £3.50, as well as ceramic plates, bowls, and jugs starting at £3.50.
A cute butter dish in the shape of a pumpkin for £6 immediately caught my attention — a great alternative to Le Creuset.
I also noticed the popular TikTok Owala bottles selling for £6, instead of the original ones that cost around £40.
The furniture department is also impressive — a stylish chair for £90, a shelf for £60, and a cream chair for £45 can seriously compete with Ikea.
Additionally, there is a special 'Back to Uni' section for students who want to furnish their dorm rooms affordably.
Travel and Accessories
On the second floor, there is a travel section where you can find a plethora of accessories and gadgets. Prices for suitcases range from £12 to £55.
Packing sets for £3.50, portable speakers for £8, and luggage scales for £5 are also part of the offerings.
However, it's worth noting that there are no self-service checkouts in the store — only five staffed ones, so the queues can be long.
Trends and New Collections
Primark hopes that the new autumn collection, which features many pumpkins and orange hues, will be popular. Rumor has it that pumpkin-shaped cushions could become a real hit.
The prices for the luxurious home goods collection indicate that the brand has decided to introduce higher quality options. The products look more timeless, with classic designs.

Will new Primark home stores appear?
Primark has over 460 stores worldwide. The new store in Manchester adds to their number. The first separate home goods outlet opened in Belfast in March and has already been successful.
Currently, there are no confirmed plans for opening new such stores; it will all depend on the success of these two initial locations.
If you can't personally visit Manchester, you can order products online using the click and collect service available at all 187 Primark stores in the UK.
