Ricky Hatton's Biggest Wins

Ricky Hatton lost only three times in his great career of 46 fights, earning around £37 million in prize money. Here are some of his memorable victories:

  • John Texter on points – Ricky became national champion, defeating Texter for the vacant British welterweight title.
  • Kostya Tszyu – in the MEN Arena in Manchester, Ricky became world champion, winning the IBF and The Ring titles in the welterweight division.
  • Louis Collazo – one of Ricky's victories in the USA, winning the WBA title in the welterweight.
  • Paulie Malignaggi by TKO – Ricky's last victory came against the American boxer, finishing the fight in the 11th round.

Ricky initially retired in 2011, but soon announced his comeback in 2012.

However, an unsuccessful fight against Vyacheslav Senchenko led to his immediate resignation in November of that year. Inspired by the Gallagher brothers, Ricky was looking forward to returning to the ring 13 years after his last professional fight.
