The Ministry of Community and Territory Development reported that testing of the Interbus digital module for international bus transportation has already begun in Ukraine.
'Interbus is a system based on the Agreement on International Occasional Passenger Road Transport (Interbus Agreement). This agreement allows carriers to operate occasional passenger transportation without separate permits in the member countries,' the ministry reported.
The Interbus digital module will handle the accounting and issuance of journals for occasional international transportation according to the Agreement. One organization will issue all necessary permits, and the information will be available in a single database.
'Very soon, carriers will be able to order and receive documents online, as well as fill them out in digital format. When registering in the queue system for border crossing, the permits will be automatically verified. Ordering Interbus journals online will be available from February, and from March these documents will start being valid for transportation,' the ministry reported.
