Mortgage: which regions received the most loans.

In November 2024, Ukrainians received 597 mortgage loans totaling 1 billion hryvnias, according to the National Bank.

According to the Bank's Survey on Mortgage Lending, residents of Kyiv and Kyiv region received the most loans.

The regulator emphasized that most mortgage loans were issued on the secondary real estate market. The weighted average effective rate for mortgage loans remained at 8.4% per annum in November, the same as in October.

Most popular regions for mortgage loans

The most mortgage loans in November were issued:

• In the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region (303 contracts for a total amount of 553.1 million hryvnias, accounting for 55% of the total volume)
• In Lviv region (36 contracts for 71.3 million hryvnias)
• In Ivano-Frankivsk region (40 contracts for 56.7 million hryvnias)
