Iran unveiled a kamikaze drone with a speed of 510 km/h: what is known about Hadid-110.
New Iranian drone Hadid-110
According to ТСН: Iran has introduced a new jet combat drone, the Hadid-110, which, according to state media and technical descriptions from the American military base OE Data Integration Network, is capable of reaching speeds of up to 510 km/h.
This drone is the fastest among all Iranian drones of this class, highlighting the country's commitment to developing high-speed stealth platforms.
The Hadid-110, also known as Dalahu, is equipped with a compact jet engine and features a streamlined body with minimal radar signature. Its delta wing and faceted fuselage make it difficult to detect by radars, similar to the approaches used in modern cruise missiles and stealth aviation.
The drone is designed to penetrate layered air defense systems and strike stationary targets with minimal warning. Its small warhead, high speed, and low visibility significantly reduce the response time of air defense systems and complicate target tracking, according to experts.
Iran has been actively increasing its production of drones for over ten years, and these systems play a crucial role in global conflicts. The most well-known models, such as the Shahed-131 and Shahed-136, are regularly used by Russia in the war against Ukraine to attack energy and command infrastructure. Their low cost and ease of production prompt many countries to rethink their approaches to countering threats from low-altitude drones.
The new Hadid-110 drone is part of a broader Iranian strategy regarding drones, which includes developing technologies that enhance their effectiveness in combat conditions. As drones become increasingly popular in modern warfare, countries around the world are closely monitoring the development of Iranian technologies that could impact global security.
