IT Coalition in Sweden Agreed to Accelerate Technology Procurement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to inkorr.com: In Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, the 11th meeting of the IT coalition, which supports the digitization and procurement of technological solutions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, took place. According to the Ministry of Defense, the meeting participants reached agreements to expedite the process of technology procurement for the army and additional funding for the digitization of the defense sector.
Modern Technologies for the Ukrainian Army
During the meeting, they discussed the development of the communication system in the army, the integration of the DELTA combat system and its role in supporting ISTAR processes, as well as the advantages of digital combat systems in managing operations using unmanned aerial vehicles. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oksana Ferchuk emphasized the importance of increasing funding for digital projects and accelerating technology procurement for their faster implementation in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The participants also discussed the role of modern technologies in the modernization of the Ukrainian army, the integration of various systems, and ways to speed up this process. Significant attention was paid to the funding of digital projects that will help improve the combat readiness of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This meeting became an important step in supporting Ukraine's defense capabilities, as technology plays a key role in modern combat conditions. Cooperation between government agencies and the IT sector can significantly enhance the effectiveness of military operations and the adaptation of modern technologies in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
