“It feels quite normal to list items on eBay while doing something else,” he said.
“It can be while watching football or chatting with a relative on the phone. Listing on eBay is really not difficult.”
Over the years, Ben has sold countless items on the platform, but recently has become a true professional in selling technology.
“Since I joined eBay, I have sold toys, clothes, shoes, and much more,” Ben noted.
“However, I have really learned to sell gadgets quickly – and for a good price.”
This year, one of his biggest sales was an old iPhone.
“I bought this phone during a contract with Three in 2023, and it cost about £800,” he said.
“I got a pretty decent £350 for it on eBay. Recently, I also sold my old iPad.”
He has also had numerous sales of other gadgets over the past nine months.
Ben noted that selling old items helps free up space in his small London flat.
“I live in a flat without much storage space, so it really helps.”

“I buy a lot of clothing and other items on eBay and know what a good seller should be like,” Ben states.
- Be honest about any defects.
“If there are any 'flaws', I always mention them openly,” Ben added.
