Original Winners in Ads for the First Time

The new advertisement will feature actual winners who have won the Lotto jackpot for the first time in 30 years since the lottery's inception.

One of them is Sarah Kocings, who spent part of her £3.5 million winnings on breast enhancement surgery for herself and two sisters.

The advertisement will also feature Chris and Geraldine Bradley from South Wales, who won £3,570,063 in 2006, and Harry McDonald, who won £5,208,504 in April of this year.

Harry tells viewers:

“We won, and you can too!”

Initially, his lottery ticket brought in only £35, but it turned out the amount was much greater than he expected.

The slogan 'It Could Be Yooooou!!' first appeared in ads when the lottery launched in November 1994 and became one of the most recognizable.

Breaking Down Old Stereotypes

The new owner of the National Lottery, Allwyn, uses this advertisement to showcase real people who have won, hoping it will support the optimism of those in need of hope.

Sarah, a 21-year-old student from Newcastle, won £3,045,705 on April 30, 2005. She bought jewelry for herself and her sisters and invested part of her winnings.

During the filming of the ad, she noted:

“I have never acted before and I really enjoyed being part of this project”
.

Chris and Geraldine Bradley, who won the lottery in 2006, shared that the money allowed them to pursue their beloved hobby – motorbiking.
