Paul's reaction to Canelo's defeat
Crawford, the 37-year-old boxer, had a brilliant fight throughout all 12 rounds, winning by judges' decision and becoming a three-time undisputed champion.
Before the fight, Canelo was already close to signing a deal to fight Paul but ultimately chose to meet Crawford instead.
No wonder that the 'Problem Child' Paul did not miss the chance to express his opinion on the boxing key player after the results were announced.
“Canelo raises his hand as if he won lol, dumb fool.”
“The lying weirdo, Canelo is definitely overrated.”
Canelo looked upset after his third defeat in his career. He commented:
“I have done so much in my career, and I have taken risks all my life.”
“I am glad to share the ring with great fighters.”
“I will always take these risks because I love boxing.”
What's next for Jake Paul?
The 28-year-old Paul has already turned down a possible fight with Canelo and plans to fight Gervonta Davis later this year. He is preparing for the bout that will take place in Atlanta on November 14.
