Vardy made his first appearance on the field in the 58th minute, but the match ended without goals.

Vardy's wife, Rebecca, was in the stands when he took the field.

Unfortunately, Vardy was minimally involved in the game, touching the ball only seven times.

Cremonese managed to avoid defeat as Verona failed to capitalize on their chances.

Vardy hopes for a better performance next Sunday when he faces his debut home match against Parma.

“They (my family) are not here yet — of course, we need to go through the visa procedures — but they are looking forward to it.”
