According to The Sun: The ex-girlfriend of tennis star Jannik Sinner, Anna Kalinskaya, revealed that one of the top ten tennis players messaged her ten times before giving up.

The couple was together for a year starting in May 2024 before breaking up.
Sinner, now ranked second in the world, won Wimbledon after the breakup and became a finalist at the French Open and the US Open in doubles with Carlos Alcaraz.
Anna is ranked 34th in the world and has four titles on the WTA Tour.
She stated that she received at least ten messages on social media from Sinner's rival, 22-year-old Holger Rune.
The Danish tennis player, who is ranked ninth in the world, has yet to reach a Grand Slam semifinal, but is actively pursuing Kalinskaya online.

However, Kalinskaya emphasized that she did not respond to Rune's messages, noting that he 'writes to everyone' and considers himself too important.
Kalinskaya's reaction to questions about tennis players
When asked if tennis players often message her, she replied: 'More often before. Now I’m older, I don’t know. Some shouldn’t write at all, while someone wrote ten times and then gave up.'

Kalinskaya names the player
She was asked about the 'desperate' player.
Kalinskaya named Holger Rune: “He writes to everyone. He earned it, as he thinks too much of himself. Maybe he’s just hopeless, but he’s not the only one.”

Rune, in turn, commented on the interview, denying the accusations: “Ha-ha-ha. Maybe we have cultural differences that make Anna perceive a comment on a story as an invitation for a date. If I want to ask someone out, I’ll ask directly, no worries.”
