According to The Sun: Jockey Jim Crowley and Trevor Whelan are receiving medical assistance at the York racetrack after a horrific fall involving both horses.
Crowley fell to the ground as he was unable to control his mount, Almerac.
PAThe fall occurred during a six-furlong race that included Trevor Whelan's horse nicknamed Tiger Bay.
According to Racing, the competition was severely delayed while both jockeys received urgent medical help.
This marks the second major delay of the day: earlier at Fontwell racetrack, a race was also delayed after jockey David Noonan was hospitalized following a horse strike.
Racing TV presenters in York confirmed that an ambulance had arrived on the track to assist the jockeys and horses.

Olly Bell, looking concerned during a live broadcast on ITV4, stated that he would provide an update as soon as he received new information. Viewers noted that it was one of the worst incidents they had seen.
Tom Bull on Racing TV confirmed that both jockeys are now receiving medical assistance, noting that a significant delay in the competition is expected shortly.
Olly Bell announced an update around 5:00 PM, stating: “Both jockeys are conscious and communicating, they are being taken to the hospital. This is a huge relief.”
“You could hear a pin drop here in York for the last 15 minutes, but this is very positive news.'
“Our thoughts remain with Jim and Trevor.”
Information regarding the condition of the horses is still unavailable. Almerac, trained by William Haggas, was the favorite in the race at odds of 15-8 and appeared to clip a hoof about a furlong from the finish, leading to the serious consequences.
