Real Madrid excluded Bellingham from the 2026 calendar: what does it mean.
Bellingham's absence from Real's calendar raises questions
According to The Sun: Jude Bellingham hopes for brighter prospects after Real Madrid did not include him in their 2026 calendar.
This move by the Spanish club seems somewhat unusual and raises rumors about the future of the 22-year-old midfielder, who has also not been invited to the current national team gathering by England coach Thomas Tuchel.
Bellingham has become a significant missing figure in the calendar
Bellingham was present in the 2025 edition and received the title “Place of August” Less than a year ago, Bellingham graced the cover of Real's 2025 calendar and was 'Place of August'. However, in the new edition priced at £10.99, his name is absent.
Instead, other players appeared on the cover, including new central defender Dean Huissen, who joined the club for £50 million.
The team also welcomed experienced players Diego Carvajal and Éder Militão.
After shoulder surgery, Bellingham's return has weakened his position in Real's starting lineup.
Coach Tuchel emphasized that Bellingham 'lacks rhythm', which explains his absence from the squad for matches against Wales and Latvia. Bellingham and Real have already sent requests for comments.

The former Borussia Dortmund star has played only one match since early September following his return from injury. Coach Xabi Alonso selected him to play against Atletico, but then Bellingham appeared on the field only as a substitute.
“I need his flexibility and versatility. Some players are more static, Bellingham is not one of them,” Alonso noted.
Bellingham has unexpectedly missed the latest international matches. Tuchel pointed out: “There might be special rules for him, but this time we decided to keep the same team. He has not found his rhythm and has not completed a game.”
Tuchel also stressed that he considers Bellingham one of the best players in the world in the central midfielder position.
“Do I believe we are stronger with Bellingham? Yes. But what will we do if something happens before the World Cup?
