The Cabinet of Ministers approved social norms for water supply and drainage
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved social norms within which a subsidy for the payment of water supply and drainage services is provided. This was reported by the press service of the PFC.
Resolution No. 409 of 08/06/2014 "On establishing state social standards in the field of housing and communal services" sets the following preferential norms:
- Centralized cold water supply: 2 cubic meters per person per month;
- Centralized cold water supply in the absence of hot water: 3.6 cubic meters per person per month;
- Centralized drainage: 3.6 cubic meters per person per month;
- In the absence of centralized drainage (with the availability of cesspools): 3.6 cubic meters per person per month;
- In the absence of centralized water supply and drainage (with the availability of cesspools): 0.76 cubic meters per person per month;
- Centralized hot water supply: 1.6 cubic meters per person per month.
These social norms define the limits within which Ukrainians are given a discount on the payment of utilities. The indicated volumes are taken into account when calculating subsidies for the payment of housing and communal services.
It also became known how utility debt affects subsidy payments.
