Kaja Kallas at the UN Security Council meeting called for joint support for Ukraine.

The EU calls for support for Ukraine against Russian aggression
Kaja Kallas, who spoke as the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, called on all UN countries to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
This statement was made during the UN Security Council meeting, Ukrinform reported.
'Ukrainians... deserve to decide their own future,' Kallas emphasized. 'And we all must support them. This war is not either a 'European war' or a conflict between neighbors or a proxy war.' (US Secretary of State Marco Rubio previously called it a 'proxy war' between Moscow and Washington).
According to Kallas, the consequences of the Russian war go beyond Ukraine, especially concerning global food and energy markets. 'Also, because Russia has involved other countries - North Korea and Iran - to support its colonial struggle,' the diplomat added.
Supplies of weapons from North Korea to Russia, the presence of North Korean troops on Russian territory, and North Korea's nuclear program are serious violations of international law and UN Security Council resolutions, Kallas stated. At the same Time, Russia's military support from Iran, including the supply of ballistic missiles, poses a serious threat to international security, she added.
'So we must all focus our efforts on achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine as soon as possible,' Kaja Kallas, the EU's high representative, concluded.
