Ukrainian Mobile Giants Kyivstar and Vodafone to Raise Prices Starting March 2026.
Mobile Operators Announce Price Hikes
According to Novyny.live: Two of Ukraine's leading mobile network operators, Kyivstar and Vodafone, have announced they will increase their service tariffs, with the changes taking effect in March 2026. This move will directly impact the monthly costs for millions of subscribers across the country. Price adjustments in Ukraine's telecom sector often reflect broader economic pressures and infrastructure investment needs.
New Pricing Structures Detailed
Kyivstar is introducing a revised pricing scheme. Its most affordable consumer plan, 'ALL TOGETHER Comfort', will now be priced at 220 UAH per month, while its premium 'ALL TOGETHER Top Contract' plan will cost 750 UAH monthly. Furthermore, in early March 2026, the company plans to launch three new tariffs for corporate clients:
- 'Business Basic' for 200 UAH per month
- 'Business Optimal' for 350 UAH per month
- 'Business Comfort' for 450 UAH per month
Vodafone is also adjusting its rates. Effective March 5, 2026, the company will raise prices on legacy service packages by 45 to 70 UAH. Current subscription plans for Vodafone subscribers will range from 420 to 550 UAH monthly, while contract service packages will cost between 350 and 1,500 UAH per month.
The operator lifecell maintains its own pricing: the 'Maxi' plan costs 400 UAH monthly, 'Mega' is 550 UAH, and the 'Care' tariff is available for 190 UAH per month, but exclusively for Ukrainian citizens aged 55 and over who port their number to the lifecell network.
Additionally, starting March 1, 2026, the monthly fee for a premium phone number from Kyivstar will increase to 450 UAH. These widespread tariff changes highlight a trend of rising costs for mobile services in Ukraine, which is likely to influence consumer decisions in the coming period.
The decision by Ukrainian mobile operators to raise their tariffs may point to increased costs for network maintenance and infrastructure. In an environment of economic instability and inflation, such changes could prompt subscribers to consider switching to more economical offers or changing providers altogether. This dynamic could also affect the competitive landscape of Ukraine's mobile services market.
