According to inkorr.com: The mobile operator 'Kyivstar' is starting to modernize its network, transitioning from 3G to the new 4G technology. This will significantly improve the speed and quality of the internet for users and prepare for the implementation of 5G in the future.
Results of Modernization
The transition to the upgraded network has already yielded tangible results. After the decommissioning of 3G in major cities, mobile internet speeds have noticeably increased: by 36% in Odesa, 41% in Kyiv, and in Lviv — even by 68%! These new capabilities have become possible thanks to the switch to 4G.
