Kyivstar to Discontinue Popular Mobile Plans: Key Changes for Subscribers from 2026.
Kyivstar Announces Service Updates
According to Novyny.live: Kyivstar, one of Ukraine's leading mobile operators, has announced a series of changes to its service terms, set to take effect on January 21, 2026. These updates will impact subscribers, most notably through the phasing out of several popular rate plans for new customers.
Effective January 21, 2026, the following plans will be archived and unavailable for new subscribers:
- 'ALL TOGETHER Light 2025'
- 'ALL TOGETHER Light Contract 2025'
- 'ALL TOGETHER Cool 2025'
- 'ALL TOGETHER Top Contract 2025'
From the same date, the roaming data allowance will be set at 18 GB, a significant consideration for frequent travelers. Furthermore, the list of countries included in international calling minutes has been expanded to include:
- Ireland
- Portugal
- Slovakia
Concurrently, the 'World Awaits' service will be automatically deactivated for Portugal and Slovakia. Subscribers on the 'ALL TOGETHER Cool' plan will receive an additional 600 minutes for calls to other networks within Ukraine and abroad, plus 600 SMS messages to Ukrainian networks.
Revised Service Terms
Starting January 21, the 'SIM for a Second Phone' feature will be included in the terms of the 'ALL TOGETHER Premium Contract'. Additionally, from February 1, charges for using the 'SIM for a Second Phone' service will cease if the service was activated prior to that date.
These changes may influence how subscribers choose their plans, as customers will need to adapt to the new service conditions.
The service term updates from Kyivstar could lead to significant shifts in Ukraine's mobile services market. Discontinuing popular plans for new users might reduce competition among operators and prompt subscribers to consider alternative offers.
The new roaming and international calling conditions could become a deciding factor for frequent travelers, affecting their choice of mobile provider.
