The gold medal was claimed by Kazakhstan's Mikhail Shaidorov with a score of 291.58 points. Japan's Yuma Kagiyama took silver with 280.06 points, while another Japanese skater, Shun Sato, captured the bronze with 274.90 points. American skater Ilia Malinin finished the competition in eighth place.
