China to showcase missiles capable of hitting the USA: what is known about the parade in Beijing.
According to FREEДOM:
China prepares for military parade
On September 3, China plans to hold a military parade where the latest anti-ship missiles, combat drones, and ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads will be showcased. This was reported by Bloomberg on August 26, citing data from satellite images, according to FREEДОМ.
Purpose of the demonstration
Experts note that the main goal of the parade is to demonstrate the military might of the country and, likely, to attract potential buyers of weapons.
“Satellite images of the parade ground for September 3 show dozens of units of weapons that will likely be driving through the streets of Beijing. Images taken on August 9 by an Airbus satellite show armored vehicles, air defense systems, artillery guns, including rocket launchers and cruise missiles,” writes Bloomberg.
Significant novelties
One of the satellite images captured several intercontinental ballistic missiles DF-41 on solid fuel. These missiles can carry multiple warheads and have a range of about 15 thousand kilometers, allowing them to hit targets on US territory.
It is also worth noting that Germany has urged China to take a more active role in the peace process regarding Russia's war against Ukraine. These events underscore the importance of international support and cooperation in resolving global conflicts.
