China has launched a new aircraft carrier of unknown type into the sea
Chinese media reported that China has tested a new aircraft carrier, which has no military markings and holds civilian identification. This ship differs from all other ships of the Chinese Navy.
Journalists discovered something interesting: the ship features three structures that are usually characteristic of aircraft carriers. Additionally, smoke stacks have been extended to the third structure, which is unconventional. The ship also displays flight and hangar decks.
The name and specifications of the new ship are still unknown, as are its functionality and purpose.
The vessel was launched in September-October this year. Its emblem indicates affiliation with CSSC (China State Shipbuilding Corporation). The ship may be a training platform or intended for testing.
Previously, Chinese forces have already deployed their aircraft carriers into open waters. This may be preparation for a possible war with Taiwan.
Furthermore, China recently faced setbacks in concealing the sinking of a new nuclear submarine, which has been a significant failure for the country.
