China refuses to send troops to Ukraine: what the Foreign Ministry said.
According to inkorr.com: The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that they do not plan to send their troops to Ukraine to ensure security.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian emphasized that the rumors about the possible participation of Chinese troops on Ukrainian territory are unfounded. This also applies to information from the German newspaper Welt, which mentioned the possible involvement of China in a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine under the auspices of the UN.
'China's position on the Ukrainian issue is consistent and clear,' the diplomat stressed.
Discussion of security guarantees
The issue of the possible deployment of Western military forces in Ukraine as a way to guarantee security from Russian aggression became relevant after the meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and the USA, Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, in Washington. Moscow opposes the participation of NATO troops in Ukraine and proposes to involve China in providing security guarantees to Ukraine.
The statement from the Chinese Foreign Ministry indicates the country's refusal of military intervention in the Ukrainian conflict and support for the peace process in the region.
Thus, China's position in the context of escalating tensions in Ukraine remains unchanged. The country aims to maintain a peacekeeping approach and avoid military escalation, which could impact stability in the country and the region as a whole.
