China increases rocket production by 60%: a threat to Taiwan and the US.
China expands rocket production to strengthen its influence
According to inkorr.com: Since the beginning of 2020, China has actively expanded its enterprises specializing in rocket production. The main goal of this process is to reinforce its positions alongside the US armed forces and enhance its influence in the region.
According to CNN, over 60% of the 136 facilities related to rocket production and the Rocket Force of the People’s Liberation Army of China have increased their areas from 2020 to the end of 2025. The total additional area of the facilities has exceeded two million square meters.
'This is China wanting to be a superpower. We stand on the brink of a new arms race. China has already gone for a sprint and is preparing for a marathon,' commented expert William Alberque.
Experts emphasize that the rockets produced at the new facilities may become key elements in potential military actions against Taiwan. This is part of China's strategy to deter the US Navy in the event of a conflict and to form a basis for a possible attack on Taiwan.
After Russia's aggression in Ukraine, China significantly accelerated the expansion of its rocket production, trying to shift attention away from events in the conflict zone. This has a substantial impact on the geopolitical situation and security in the region.
Russian airstrikes have revealed the importance of both cheap and expensive rockets, which have become key in the war preparation strategy. At the same time, this has caused difficulties in supplying weapons for the US due to a lack of support from some countries, threatening the strategy of deterring China.
President of the Pacific Forum David Santoro warns of the beginning of a 'cold war' that could escalate into a hot confrontation, covering all areas of geopolitical relations.
This information indicates that China is actively working on expanding rocket production to strengthen its influence in the region and its positions on the international stage. The growth in the number and scale of facilities designated for rocket production poses new security threats that could lead to increased tensions in international relations.
