Oschadbank Customers Must Use Their Cashback by July 2026: What’s Changing.
Government Cashback Program for Oschadbank Clients
According to Novyny.live: Customers of Oschadbank have until July 31, 2026, to spend their state-provided cashback, or the funds will be returned to the national budget. The government has extended the deadline for using these accumulated funds, giving citizens more time to take advantage of the program. Notably, cashback for April will be available to Oschadbank clients starting July 3.
The fuel cashback initiative, which ran from March 20 to May 31, was a key component of the program. Customers can use their accumulated funds for a variety of expenses, including:
- utility bills
- medications
- books
- postal services
- products from Ukrainian manufacturers
- charitable donations
However, it is important to note that Oschadbank updated its fee structure on July 1, 2023. Starting then, maintaining inactive accounts costs 150 hryvnias per month. This change could affect financial planning for customers who do not actively use the bank’s services.
New Opportunities and Challenges
By extending the cashback usage deadline to July 31, 2026, Oschadbank clients gain extra time to claim their benefits, but they must also stay mindful of the bank’s updated fees.
The cashback program serves as a vital tool for supporting citizens, especially amid economic uncertainty. It not only encourages the consumption of Ukrainian goods and services but also promotes financial literacy among the population.
At the same time, the adjustments to the bank’s tariffs may push customers to use their accounts and services more actively, potentially improving their financial well-being.
