Utility Payments Get Cheaper: New PrivatBank Fee Structure Takes Effect in July.
Paying for Housing and Utilities Through PrivatBank
According to Novyny.live: Starting in July 2026, PrivatBank customers can pay their utility bills with potential savings. Payments are accepted through several channels, including Privat24, self-service terminals, and by phone. This setup lets users handle their utility payments quickly and conveniently.
Payment Methods and Associated Fees
The bank offers its clients multiple payment options. Customers can choose between Privat24, the Android/iOS app, self-service terminals, or calling 3700. The fee for utility payments depends on the method used:
- Pension recipients pay no fee for auto-payments up to 5,000 UAH per month.
- If the customer has no agreement with the payee, the fee is 3 UAH.
- For payments at self-service terminals with an agreement, the fee is 1% (minimum 5 UAH, maximum 500 UAH).
- When paying by phone at 3700 without an agreement, the fee may be 1% plus 20 UAH.
Benefits of paying utilities through PrivatBank include:
- 24/7 access
- Fast payment processing
- Payment history tracking
- Access to an archive of payment records
Customers are required to regularly provide personal information to PrivatBank, which is important for ensuring the security and accuracy of transactions.
In this way, PrivatBank is creating convenient conditions for paying housing and utility bills, offering opportunities to save money and choose the most suitable payment method.
This initiative aligns with modern consumer demands for convenience and speed in financial transactions. As cashless payments continue to grow in popularity across Ukraine, the bank aims to meet customer needs by providing a variety of payment options. This move could also boost customer loyalty and strengthen the bank's competitive position in the financial services market.
