When will power outages return? Answer from the Ministry of Energy.
Ukrainians have been living without power outages for several days. However, energy specialists believe that it is currently inadvisable to make predictions about returning to the usual schedule. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk.
According to him, electricity consumption remains an important factor for energy specialists. That is why Ukrainians are urged to use light sparingly, particularly during peak hours - from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00.
This allows for balancing the energy system. Therefore, we urge you to consume responsibly, and the energy specialists on their part are doing everything possible 24/7 to keep the system running in a stable mode
Let us remind you that on Sunday, August 4, power outages in Ukraine are not forecasted.
It was also reported that the situation in the Ukrainian energy system would improve. However, Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko emphasized the need to consider the threat of new enemy shelling.
By October, DTEK plans to return to operation 60-70% of the generation it lost due to Russian shelling in the spring of this year.
In addition, "Ukrenergo" forecasts a reduction in power outages in August-October. The head of "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi noted that the electricity deficit in Ukraine's energy system would gradually decrease during August, September, and October, provided there are no new large-scale shelling attacks.
