Biletskyi Outlines Battlefield Shift Forecast

According to Novyny.live: Andriy Biletskyi, commander of the Third Army Corps, has projected a potential turning point on the front lines within six to seven months. His assessment draws on current battlefield dynamics, notably Russia's growing shortage of personnel and Ukraine's aerial advantage, driven by advanced drone technology. This timeline reflects a strategic window where Ukrainian forces could capitalize on these disparities.

According to Biletskyi, the enemy's lack of manpower is becoming increasingly apparent.

“The obvious shortage of enemy personnel on the front line is felt more and more each month”
he stated. The commander also noted that the Russian army has failed to achieve significant gains, and its winter and spring military campaigns have not yielded the expected results.

Biletskyi believes that “the crisis for the Russians will definitely intensify along the front line.” His expectation of a turning point in six to seven months is tied to a clear recognition that Russia is losing this war tactically on the ground.

“I believe that 6-7 months marks the turning point on the front and a clear understanding that Russia is tactically losing this war on the ground”
Biletskyi emphasized.

Operation in Luhansk Region

Additionally, he announced an operation to control Russian military logistics routes in the Luhansk region, planned for late May 2026. According to the commander, this operation could serve as a critical phase in the ongoing fight for territorial control and securing strategic advantages for Ukrainian troops.

Andriy Biletskyi continues to monitor military developments and expresses confidence in Ukraine's ability to maintain and build on its advantages, leveraging modern technology and evolving battlefield conditions.

Biletskyi’s forecasts regarding a potential turning point indicate that Ukrainian command is intensifying its analysis of the battlefield situation and crafting strategies for continued resistance. The anticipated operation in the Luhansk region could significantly impact the conflict's trajectory, as controlling logistics routes is vital for military effectiveness. Such steps may prove decisive in achieving Ukraine's strategic objectives in this war.
