The crisis in Ukraine's energy system: why there will be no electricity for a long time.
According to inkorr.com: The energy system of Ukraine is in a critical condition due to daily attacks by Russia on important infrastructure facilities. According to information from DTEK, energy workers continue to operate without stops, but each new strike complicates the recovery of the system.
Consumers have received answers to questions about the duration of electricity outages. Prolonged repair work is caused by the destruction and constant threat of new attacks, which complicates the work of energy sector employees.
'The situation in Ukraine's energy system is still critical. Russia attacks daily. The last massive attack by Shaheds and ballistic missiles, which are almost impossible to intercept. The targets remain key elements of the energy system,' the expert states.
Attacks on power plants and substations
Russian troops continue to attack generating capacities and main networks. Power plants are regularly shelled, while 'Ukrenergo' substations are under attack, limiting the supply of electricity to consumers.
Particularly dangerous are attacks on substations that supply nuclear power plants with electricity. This leads to a decrease in their capacity, which is necessary to prevent accidents and outages, and in turn affects the overall deficit in the energy system.
All these factors significantly complicate the tasks of energy workers who are trying to restore damaged infrastructure after each attack.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Energy has already established four electricity outage schedules for different regions of Ukraine.
Unfortunately, Ukraine's energy system remains in a critical state due to continuous attacks by Russia, complicating the recovery process and potentially leading to serious problems with electricity supply for the population.
The situation in Ukraine's energy sector continues to be alarming. Continuous attacks on critical infrastructure facilities threaten not only the stability of energy supply but also the safety of the population. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore the operation of the system, but the constant threat of new attacks complicates their work. In wartime, it's important not only to provide electricity supply but also to preserve the lives and health of people.
