Groats have started to rise in price: Ukrainians were shown fresh prices for buckwheat, rice and pasta.
Ukraine is experiencing an increase in prices for certain types of groats. This is reported by the Minfin portal.
Groats are staple food products, so consumers closely monitor their cost. Even a slight increase in prices significantly affects the family budget. According to data from mid-August, the price of rice and pasta has slightly increased. However, the cost of buckwheat has decreased by a few kopecks.
A kilogram of buckwheat now costs 28.15 UAH. However, the price may vary in different supermarkets. In Ashan, buckwheat is sold for 24.90 UAH per kilogram, and in MegaMarket, the price is 32.30 UAH per kilogram.
The price of long-grain rice has increased from 55.91 UAH to 56.97 UAH per kilogram. Parboiled rice now costs 66.60 UAH per kilogram, and round-grain rice is 66.97 UAH per kilogram.
Feather pasta also rose in price from 33.16 UAH to 34.43 UAH per kilogram.
