It could last a few months or even up to six. But he is young and spry, so we hope the recovery goes faster than usual.”

The future of KSI in boxing raises questions after several setbacks. He is not yet ready to confirm whether he plans to step back into the ring. However, Taylor noted: “If there is the right challenge that interests both him and the fans, he will want to fight.”

“But it has to be the right fight. It has to be a big fight. He said: ‘Here’s what we forgot: I am a predator. I don’t want to fight just for the sake of fighting; I want to create a spectacle.’”

KSI was also disappointed when the deal for a fight with UFC superstar McGregor in the USA ultimately fell through. Powerful boxing boss from Saudi Arabia Turki Alalshik was negotiating this fight, but McGregor opted out.

“We came to the table, we did it, and in our opinion, it was a deal done,” said Taylor.

Since his last fight in 2021, when he sustained a serious leg injury in a match against Dustin Poirier, McGregor has not stepped into the ring. While he intends to return, his situation in the UFC remains uncertain due to numerous legal challenges.
