Interbank Market Sees Major Currency Shifts
According to Мінфін — Крипто/Фінанси: On July 13, 2023, both the US dollar and the euro experienced significant gains on Ukraine's interbank market. The dollar opened at UAH 44.49/44.52 and climbed to UAH 44.80/44.83 by the close, marking an increase of 31 kopiyky. Meanwhile, the euro opened at UAH 50.73/50.75 and rose to UAH 51.15/51.17, a jump of 42 kopiyky. These movements reflect ongoing volatility in the foreign exchange market, which is closely watched by businesses and individual investors alike.
On the cash market, the hryvnia traded against the dollar within a range of UAH 44.39 to UAH 44.89. For the euro, cash market rates stood at UAH 50.70 for purchases and UAH 51.36 for sales. At currency exchange kiosks, the dollar was quoted between UAH 44.75 and UAH 44.74, while the euro fluctuated from UAH 51.15 to UAH 51.25.
